We are looking for a highly experienced .NET Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will work on modern and legacy systems with strong emphasis on integration (EDI), API development, and service maintenance
• Develop and maintain .NET Core (5.0 or above) Web APIs (Client/Host).
• Create and support Windows Services for background processing tasks.
• Implement and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
• Support and enhance legacy systems built on .NET Framework 4.8 (including WCF and ASP.NET) for EDI operations.
• Handle various EDI mappings and formats such as JSON, XML, EDIFACT, X12, CSV.
• Manage data transfers using protocols like FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, OFTP.
• Use MapForce or similar tools for 3rd-party data mapping and transformation.
• Collaborate with team members using Azure DevOps or GitHub for version control.
• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with stakeholders and team members.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with .NET development.
• Proficiency in .NET Core (5.0+) and Web API development.
• Have EDI domain
• Experience building and managing Windows Services.
• Strong knowledge of Swagger for API documentation.
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.8, especially WCF and ASP.NET.
• In-depth understanding of EDI formats (EDIFACT, X12, etc.) and transfer protocols.
• Hands-on experience with MapForce or similar mapping tools.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong team building, conflict resolution, and performance evaluation skills.
• Strong issue-resolution skills: Ability to identify and address challenges promptly and effectively.
• Ability to code review and mentor junior/mid developers.
