Role Overview An IBM BAW Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining workflow-driven business applications using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW). The role combines process automation, system integration, and user experience design to digitalize and optimize end-to-end business processes. This position sits at the intersection of business process management (BPM), case management, and enterprise integration, often in mission-critical environments such as banking, insurance, utilities, telecom, and public sector. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement business processes from scratch on IBM BAW / IBM BPM (including Process Designer & Case Designer where applicable) • Build modern user interfaces using the latest standards (incl. BAW Coaches / Coach Views and custom UI components when needed) • Develop integration services and microservices supporting business processes • Integrate BAW with external systems (ERP, CRM, core banking, legacy platforms) • Configure and develop human services, system services, decision services, and integrations • Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define the target solution and system structure • Support testing (unit/integration/UAT) and deployments across environments • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing solutions in production • Maintain high code quality (Clean Code) in a dynamic Agile environment
