- Qualifications:
• Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications: Possess an IT-related tertiary qualification or
demonstrate equivalent experience in the field.
• Certifications / Accreditations: Hold an Associate or Professional level certification in Infrastructure and
Application Monitoring Tools such as ITRS Geneos coupled with Scripting skills.
• Relevant experience in configuring and instrumenting Infrastructure and Application Monitoring using
industry standard tools (e.g., ITRS, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Strong experience in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible & Shell Scripting. Good
knowledge of SQL scripting and queries related to automation tasks.
• Work experience for the deployment of ITRS Geneos platform is an added advantage

Core responsibilities:
• Develop and Maintain Automation Tools & Solutions: Design, build, and maintain automation tools and
ensure new solutions are deployed in customer environment. Continuously improve these solutions to
ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Experience working in an Agile structure and culture with direct experience in using tools such as
Azure DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines
• Gather and Understand Requirements: Work closely with key stakeholders to capture and understand
their requirements, ensuring that automation solutions align with business objectives and needs.
• Automate Repetitive Tasks: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and manual processes,
allowing for increased efficiency and productivity.
• Infrastructure Provisioning and Integration: Automate infrastructure provisioning processes and establish
seamless integration between various infrastructure services.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Diagnose and debug issues in existing automation environments,
providing recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to deliver a robust and scalable
automation framework. Engage in code reviews, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis as a subject
matter expert (SME).
• Evaluate New Tools and Technologies: Stay up-to-date with the latest automation tools and
technologies. Evaluate their potential application in the organization and make informed
recommendations

Skill set & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work
experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in instrumenting Monitoring Tools for
Infrastructure and Application Monitoring in a banking or financial services environment.
• OS Administration Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of Windows and RHEL server OS
administration to effectively manage and automate server-related tasks.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ansible and Shell Scripting is
essential for creating automation scripts and workflows.
• Experience in SQL database connectivity and related querying for automation / scripting tasks is
essential.
• Banking Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with banking infrastructure technologies and concepts, such
as data centers, server virtualization, storage systems, network security, and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues related to Puppet and
Ansible configurations, deployment automation, and integration with other systems and tools.
• Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams, including infrastructure, application development, and operations teams.
